Jocelyn B. Smith meets up with contemporary witnesses for a singing workshop in Gitschiner 15.
With the help of Zeitzeugenbörse e.V., Aktion Sühnezeichen and Dr. Kampe (curator of the memorial "Haus der Wannseekonferenz") in November 2009 still living contemporary witnesses of World War II were asked if they would want to sing together with Jocelyn. For more than half a year now they set up for a concert with the DSO. The choir has meanwhile increased and today counts 50 members coming from three different generations. The rehearsals will end in a grand symphonic concert in the "Haus der Kulturen der Welt" on November 10th. Music is by composer and sax player Volker Schlott, conductor of the DSO will be Prof. Bernd Wefelmeyer.

Here children reveal to us their unbiased and open thoughts about the subject: We – the ME in YOU. The singer Jocelyn B. Smith accompanies with her music, texts written and spoken by german, türkish and english children, for the creation of an authentic, heartfelt Audiobook experience. The patron of this project is Christian Brückner (german voice of the actor Robert De Niro).
On 3rd December Jocelyn B. Smith presented her humanitarian music project with singing children in Norway. She was a special guest and accompanied the german actiongroup landmine.de for there worldwide campaign to ban cluster munitions.
Jocelyn B. Smith is going to represent her newly founded non-profit-organization Yes We Can e.V. which stands up strongly for children in need, especially child victims of cluster munitions. The song Higher Love gives the start for further projects, to which Jocelyn personally commits herself.
The aim of the Organization Yes We Can is to provide effective humanitarian support for children in former war zones and to give them the opportunity to receive an educational perspective despite handicaps. The Organization can only realize its projects through financial donations and subsides.

The opening of the new United States Embassy to Germany on Pariser
Platz on Saturday, July 5th 2008, has beeen celebrated with a large-scale,
public open-air festival and stage program at the Brandenburg Gate. The
German-American festival was hosted by the Federation of German-
American Clubs e.V. (FGAC), and staged in close cooperation with the
U.S. Embassy to Germany.
More than 250.000 people came to celebrate the "Amerikafest" and have seen a great live performance of star guest Jocelyn B. Smith with her new choir 4Bridges. The audience were sold on to the new elements of classic music mixed with jazz and soul.

On Friday March 7th, Jocelyn B. Smith was singing with about 100 Berlin schoolkids on the Radiomultikulti in the house of broadcast in Berlin.
There she made her first recording for her new song with the kids choir and special guest, the actriss Ulrike Folkerts and patron from the actiongroup landmine.de.
